The Midvaal Municipality passes their 2022/2023 financial budget

MIDVAAL - The DA in Gauteng is still on track, as the Midvaal Local Municipality unanimously approved their 2022/2023 financial budget. According to a statement released by the DA, Midvaal adopted a fully-funded budget which was approved by all political parties within the Council. The approval of the budget ensures that Mayor Peter Teixeira and his team can continue with the service delivery that their Municipality is known for. Some of the allocations within this budget include upgrades to the Waste Water Treatment Works and the electrification of important corridors along the R59, as well as 25-million rand which has been allocated towards the improvement and expansion of road networks to unlock the structural transformation of Midvaal.
